I will be creating a fiber art installation for the August 2008 First Friday opening at the Sixth Street Gallery. This solo exhibition on the featured Gallery member’s wall will be held during our Annual Fiber Arts Festival. My idea is to utilize the 15 x 20 foot display wall by demonstrating a line work using over 1500 yards of black yarn.

My latest pen and ink drawing will be showcased in the center of this installation as well as the step-by-step creative process that I used to complete the original. This piece was designed as a commissioned work for the debut album cover of a local band called Organic Acid (www.myspace.com/organicacid). This drawing has a hidden image within the work that clearly demonstrates the use of my Power of Intention. Also this installation will be one of my 3 submissions to the Amsterdam Whitney International Fine Art Gallery in Chelsea NY. I will be showcasing in NY within the next 9 months and would like to hear your comments and thoughts on this installation. I will also have limited edition signed decks of cards, prints, demo CD’s by Organic Acid, as well as a book signing for my latest publication in New Art International.
