The City

Amateur photography by Ron, Sarah and other tourists

Here are a couple shots of the Empire State Building.  We got there about 9:30pm and they had to shut down the observation deck due to the high winds and cold so we passed on the “Sleepless in Seattle” romantic scenery.

Sarah in front of what we thought was the Chrystler Building…Not!

This is a great shot of Grand Central Station. There is a restaurant on each side of the station underneath the huge widows and so many tunnels going in all directions to multiple subway access entries. Notice the mural images on the ceiling. There are multiple constellations painted on the ceiling. A closer photo view follows.

Here is one of the massive chandeliers hanging in the foyer.

This is a pretty unique photo that really terms this place as “Grand Central” meaning everyone seems to be moving as fast as they can.  We placed the camera on a pedestal and set the timer and here’s the result.
